From the Baltimore/Washington Parkway, head west on Rt. 198 less than 1/4 mile, then turn right at the first traffic light onto Russett Green East. Go past WalMart entrance, then turn left onto Russett Common. The library is on the left.

Expanded Wifi Access

Outdoor Wi-Fi Now Available at This Library

The library now offers outdoor Wi-Fi. Customers may now access the internet even when the library is closed.


Curbside Plus Services now include in-person appointments for computer use and other library services. Call for an appointment.

For everyone's safety, masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn on library property by anyone over two years of age regardless of vaccine status.

Storywalk at Maryland City Park April 12 - 19

As the weather improves, visiting a Storywalk® is a great way to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time!  Individual pages from The Big Umbrella by Amy June Bates will be displayed along the inside perimeter of the Maryland City Park playground from April 12 - April 19.   Visit the park to read this engaging story about kindness and inclusion, come to the branch to tell the library staff what you enjoyed most about the book and maybe see our very own Big RED Umbrella!


Let's Craft with Scrabble Tiles - April 13 at 6:30pm

Adults Reading Children's Literature Book Club - April 27 at 7 pm

Join our newest online book club. We will be revisiting some childhood favorites, as well as looking at some newer titles. How do these stories hold up? Do they have anything to say to us now that we are adults?  Our book for April is Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick.. What happens when two boys team up to overcome their disabilities in this story of a unique friendship?
